Well it depends if you want your warranty or not, are you talking about jailbreaking a iphone to work on another network, or are you talking about loading a different software on it completley. personally i could care less whither you jailbreak an iphone, first off over seas there are multiple providers in countrys. and the iphones have way more functionality, like in some countries, you can tether your connection from your iphone to your laptop, and it would be faster than alot of broadband internet in the u.s. and the second reason i could care less, is in my opinion the iphone is just a little computer, and companies shouldnt be able to limit how you mod your own personal property. i mean can you imagine gateway going after someone for modding a laptop. well now that i think about it that doesnt sound to far fetched lol, at least not with microsoft around! but i knew a guy that had a modded os on his iphone, that he could watch live tv off of while we were at work.
